For this purpose, Sondagens Casal developed specific equipment for pumping control and real-time monitoring of hydrostatic and hydrodynamic levels, which includes electronic devices and computer software. Thus, with the aid of a wide range of electric pumps and hydraulic equipment, we are able to carry out works with different degrees of complexity, supported by an accurate control of all the variables and a continuous electronic record.
This equipment may be implemented in existing water abstractions systems or in systems specifically executed for that purpose. It is more commonly used in observation and monitoring boreholes – the so called piezometers wells – specifically executed to allow monitoring water levels and classify drawdowns according to their type, extent and anisotropy.
